Each year, 6 scholarships are available to high school students for use in continuing education.
All applications must be received by the WSUSBC State Association Manager by February 1, 2024 to be considered.
For 2023, WSUSBC awarded 3 youth with $5000 scholarships at the annual showcase held in Mt. Vernon, WA.
Four of our scholarships are honoring people who contributed to the sport of bowling. The WSUBC and Hall of Fame scholarships are from the Association.
The six scholarships and their 2023 winners are as follows:

- Joe and Margaret Weber – Mahalia Perkins
- Bob DeVleming – Michael Jones
- Michael O’Connor – Zoey Theophilus
- Washington State USBC – N/A
- Hall of Fame – N/A
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a graduating high school student the year of application submission.
- Have sufficient academic credits to be accepted by an accredited university, community college, technical institute, or trade school.
- Be an active USBC youth member, currently bowling in a certified youth league.
- Have been a USBC youth member for at least the previous two (2) years.
- Have resided within the jurisdiction of the Washington State USBC Association for at least the previous two (2) years.
- Complete the official scholarship application.
