Each year, 6 scholarships are available to high school students for use in continuing education.
All applications must be received by the WSUSBC State Association Manager by February 1, 2025 to be considered.
For 2024, WSUSBC awarded 7 youth with $2000 scholarships at the annual showcase held in Richland, WA.
The seven scholarships and their 2024 winners are as follows:
- Dee Ashby – Tyler Marquart
- Joe and Margaret Weber – Hunter Setera
- Bob DeVleming – Jace Cassou
- Michael O’Connor – Naomi Carter
- Ron Hicks Memorial – Roshaun Moon
- Hall of Fame – Andrew Scheibe
- WSUSBC Special Award – Danika Iosty
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a graduating high school student the year of application submission.
- Have sufficient academic credits to be accepted by an accredited university, community college, technical institute, or trade school.
- Be an active USBC youth member, currently bowling in a certified youth league.
- Have been a USBC youth member for at least the previous two (2) years.
- Have resided within the jurisdiction of the Washington State USBC Association for at least the previous two (2) years.
- Complete the official scholarship application.
